Re: Daily Check-in December 12, 2019

If anyone wants a real treat from ALdi's , they have a breakfast bread made with cranberry orange and has streusel on it....so good, but beware it's easy to eat too much !! LOL. I buttered a piece and ate with the Irish white cheddar cheese and it was heavenly... Oh I am envious!! I looked for that...

I haven't bought nor would I consider buying a weighted blanket because a standard full size duvet is too heavy for me.

If you wanted it for warmth, I'd suggest just getting another comforter, quilt or regular blanket. You'd probably be better off!

Re: Weighted Blankets?

Here in the U.S., weighted blankets seem to be the gift of the Christmas season, promoted everywhere by all types of retailers. I think there will be a lot of gift recipients returning them. You're absolutely right - they are everywhere! They even had them in our Aldi ad for last week. In fact, the...

Re: Weighted Blankets?

Hi Randa, The thing is, weighted blankets are only meant to be used for short periods of time, otherwise they lose their efficacy, KWIM ? They are therapeutic and aren't for leisure/normal home use. To sound very cynical, I think manuafacturers who are selling them to match décor are misrepresentin...
