Re: Daily check in October 14, 2019

Good afternoon .. At the vet right now with Big Boy who has a roaring upper respiratory infection. Poor boy. Otherwise, appointments and errands today. Got a worker at Home Depot to pull down and open a toilet box so I could check the color. Good thing ... The one on display wasn't the color listed!...

Good morning ... Jackie and Creative, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families! Sunny and high 40s right now. Supposed to be a bit warmer today, temps back in the 30s tonight. Yesterday was a catch-up day. Knocked a bit off the list, and even made a dent in my mending. On the frugal side, I talke...

While there isn't a frost warning, the TV weatherperson suggested either covering things or bringing them in. So, went out during a break in the rain and pulled in my peppers and tomatoes. T...

Re: Daily Check-in October 9, 2019

All of the new subdivisions have buried power lines and that is something that has been done for years. But main lines leading in and rural power lines are not buried. All I can say is we have never had a power outage with a buried line. But the lines on the main road go down regularly with bad sto...

Re: Daily Check-In October 10/19

Good morning! Bit foggy this morning. Rain on the way, then them temps will drop to the 50s and 60s next week. Need to keep an eye on the evening temps. We joke that no home improvement job is simple. Got the blinds out of the bedroom window yesterday and realized the area needed caulking, spackling...
