I dissolve baking soda in warm water and fill it into an old deodorant bottle (pump spray bottle).
The work takes 2 minutes and the deodorant costs almost nothing. It works great.

My Norwex deodorant dried out while I was waiting to heal from my Breast Cancer surgery. I am using from my stash of Dove deodorant sticks, but have been strongly considering making my own from another "natural ingredients" recipe that I found. Also, dh has been struggling with finding a good deodorant that doesn't make his arms sore.
