Re: Frugal February Use It Up Challenge
On the first day of the month we had a few use it ups.
Hubby used up some drywall patching material he had in the basement.
I used up the remaining turkey tetrazzini at supper.
Hope for more use it ups today.

Used up the bag of ham from the fridge freezer making supper.
Used up the leftover salad for our supper tonight.
Used up another cake of yarn on the shawl.
Used up the small ball of purple yarn and attached the bright pink yarn (small bit leftover) to the end of the purple (this is really going to be a colourful blanket).
Used up 8 rather small potatoes making the scalloped potatoes and ham.
Used up one partially full bottle of sample hand lotion.

Boy Jackie -
You are doing good. I have had a few use ups. Used up 4 carrots, a stalk of celery and 2 lbs of stew beef to make beef stew yesterday. Also finished a bottle of roll on deodorant and by turning it upside down I got 12 extra days out of it. Finished another small tube of lotion. Guess that is about it so far.

CG I am trying midfully this year to use up what I have before going for new. I really need to get a handle on it. I am also try my hardest to have a completely no waste month.... Only 4 days in and I think I may have to toss something Hubby said he would eat for lunch a couple of days ago and didn't. But I am resolved that will be the only waste this month.colonialgirl wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 3:22 am Boy Jackie -
