Re: Frugal February Use It Up Challenge
Over the last few days we have managed a few use it ups.
Used up the cauliflower making soup. The extra soup will be labelled and put in the freezer.
Used up the last container of stew.
Used up the Chow Mein, the shrimp, the honey garlic ribs, and the battered chicken from our supper out. Lunch today should see me finish off the chicken fried rice.
Used up a bottle of hotel shampoo after giving it a swish with a bit of water.

Re: Frugal February Use It Up Challenge;
Good afternoon folks,
This is my favorite category of all. I love reading what everyone posts and learning all kinds of interesting things.
I know I am very late for February and I don't remember everything I used up; but, I thought I would give it a shot.
I used up some leftover rice, some garlic salt (why do I have 2 canisters of this?), 2 eggs that NEEDED using and the last onion of a bunch to make DH pork fried rice for dinner.
I finished 2 boxes of tea and started on the next 2 boxes.
I used up my leftover lunch out for DH's dinner several nights later.
I finished a box of Valentine's chocolates by giving my oldest DD her favorites instead of eating them myself.
Getting rid of DH's old walking shoes by putting them in the Thrift Store bag for next month.
Already took 2 of my shirts to said Thrift Store because they no longer fit.
Used up a TV dinner for DH's dinner one night this week.
I know their is more; but, I can't remember them right now.
Hopefully, more later or soon.

Re: Frugal February Use It Up Challenge
Thank you DgFlorida!
Tonight, I am using up a homemade TV dinner for DH. Used up a loaf of my bread and bought more today and they were, fortunately, B1G1F. Last week 2 of DH's bread got moldy and I had to throw them out and that really irritates me. It looks like I'm going to have to throw out some Lemon Merengue cookies I was given as they are totally tasteless and they upset my stomach. I thought about crushing them up for the ducks at the lake but I don't know if they should be fed something so sugary and I can't think of anything else. Oh well.
