Your recycling is motivational. I want to do a quilt like that too. I told my walking neighbor how I am gathering socks that are worn out on the bottom to make draft dodger(that is an uncommon word in some places) so I just said to stop drafts under the doors.

So all the scrap fabric from other projects, plus those I cut from usable portions of clothing that wasn't fit for donation but too good to be rags have been made into nine patch squares.

Still have lots of usable fabric to make another two or three quilts.

The slashing, sandwiching, quilting and binding will wait until I get home. After that I will be sewing Hubby a new robe for Christmas.
