STILL using up courgettes    ( zucchini )

Making passata from the last toms from the garden, still getting bowlsful, 4 different varieties, yellow plums, red cherry etc. the skins are tougher so passata has been the best bet.

I have been using up odds and ends of cheeses...........smoked cheddar...GONE and this morning used up some basic "mousetrap "cheddar in a dozen mini quiche.

Lots of 10p yellow sticker bakery bread in the freezer, eating that and not replacing it as trying to eat down enough space for the Christmas meats if a good sale appears ( and I have a massive freezer ) now with a large selctionof allorment veg in it.

DH Using up various oils and flavoured vinegars in our homemade salad dressings.

Hubby used up many items while I was gone visiting with the aunts.

Eggs, cheese and olives were surprisingly his favorite items. He also used up a couple of loafs of store bought bread.

Hubby also used up the last salmon steak (there was only one left in the freezer so I pulled it out for him to enjoy while I was gone.

Since I have been home we used up some more eggs, an onion, some cooked potatoes, the remains of a salad, and the leftover chili.

I have used up a package of chicken breast from the freezer and a package of turkey bacon. Used up the tomatoes. The whole chicken is thawing in the frig for tomorrow's dinner. Used up a can of coffee. I have 3 left in the pantry. Usually, there are sales as the holidays approach.

Used up the last beef roast in the freezer (of course there are leftovers of that, but they will be used up).

Used up one package of frozen roast beef (only one left).

Used up 2 packages of chicken breasts making lemon chicken. Got two meals for Hubby and I and one tin foil meal for youngest DS!

Used up the celery.

Used up a couple of packages of noodle mixtures.

Still lots to get through before we go for our stock up shopping trip, but things are slowly going down.
