Today I am using up the remnants of the mask making cotton by cutting out...you guessed more masks. However these are going to be for eldest DS to take to school for his students. Really, some provincial governments are very stingy about where and how they support the educational/health and safety needs of the students and teachers. Alberta's premier is probably the worst.

Once that fabric is used up I will wash up the cottons I purchased and get some of those cut into masks as well.

First, things need to be tidied up in the sewing/craft room.

Jackie, it is so good of you to support the kiddos and their teachers!

I found bits and bobs of fabric in my reorganizing rush yesterday so at some point today the knit fabric will be cut into the strips for the rug I want to make (should start on that at some point this winter) and the other fabrics will be cut into 4" squares suitable for making quilts (which is another thing I should start on once again).

Yippes I found a piece of black cotton fabric which while not enough to sew a garment with could be used to make some masks for eldest DS to take to the school. Once the ones I have cut out are done I will get probably 4 more out of the solid black fabric.

Scraps will of course be saved and hopefully used in a quilt or two.

I am using up the last remains of cotton fabric making those beeswax wraps. These are helping with the scrap fabric stash busting. I am also cutting out the smaller scraps into 4" squares as that is my preferred size for quilting.

Working on using up some scrap squares into a quilt top. I don't know if I will be done this week, but I will have a good start on another quilt top by the end of it.
