I paid $2.49 a gallon just yesterday at a non-Native station.gaylejackson2 wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 10:59 amFor those of us who drive, and have to bow to the "gas pump Gods," how much are you paying per gallon lately?
At the Smith's grocery & gas where I go most frequently, it was $3.14 for low grade (85%), then $3.24 for mid-grade (88%), and $3.34 for high-grade (92%). I had a coupon for $0.80 off per gallon, I put 24 gallons in my car, and paid nearly $59.
I'm not sure that I like summer gas prices, but I do have 2 out-of-town reunions this summer, and dmil dearly wants us to come to Oregon this summer too -- so I'll be pinching pennies to try to make all those happen.
I paid $2.51 today for regular for my riding lawn mower. Maybe I need to go fill up as I'm getting ready to go on my trip the end of the month. At least I would only have to top it off at the higher price. I will be driving very little between now and then.
Prices have jumped again here. Back up to $2.79. My neighbor who watches the regular TV said the price increase was Trumps fault because of Iran. I pointed out that we don't use their oil. We produce plenty. It is the greedy companies that are doing this. And we keep buying the gas. I used to plan when I buy gas. But I can't keep up with the ups and downs.
