Re: Wordle
Had absolutely NO idea as to how to even get started on the puzzle and was ready to give it up but decided I'd give it a few more tries. Finally figured out what I was supposed to do and got lucky because I got the word on the 4th try. Think I prefer Sudoko and logic problems and a couple of the word games on Pogo games.
Thanks for the link.

Re: Wordle
There has been a great deal of hype online and in the twittersphere. Not sure I want to check it out as I already have gotten addicted to other games like scrabble, words with friends, and a couple of solitaire games.

Re: Wordle
Jackie its only one puzzle a day so it's not something I can repeat over and over.

Re: Wordle
My lovely boss showed me this game and I could not make heads or tails of it. He and his wife are both a whizz at it. They are 30 years younger than me, which made me feel bad about my aging brain.

I just stare blankly at Wordle, but my sister LOVES it.
I DO really like the New York Time's "Spelling Bee". You have seven letters, and must create words that all include the "main" letter.
There is only one new game per day, but the free version that I play cuts off after a certain number of "points" earned, otherwise you could just keep on going. I get pretty proud of myself when I think of clever words, or use all seven letters. Some puzzles I start out thinking that I can't find any words, but then I find a few and really get rolling!
To get the full version, you have to subscribe to the NYTimes Puzzles, which is $5 per month. I am so tempted to subscribe. It's only 16.6 cents per day. Plus I'd get other puzzles, too.
Here is the free version. HINT: It will stop when you reach a certain number of points (I can't remember the number)......if you find a long word, which has more points, don't put it into the game. so you can play a little longer.
