Good morning all
Up with the alarm, but still tired....trying to get back to some sort of schedule.
Chickens are out and fed, garbage from dads given to them. They view that as a huge treat, LOL.
Second load of laundry going, one more to go. Need to vacuum and clean floors, figure out supper for dad and get my self ready for the day. Replaced my dvd player that was ruined by lightning. So much cheaper than when I bought my first one, watched some movies from the library over the weekend because of the rainy wet weather.
No outside work today, too wet. Temps are way down, but by the weekend back to the 80's. Fall is in the air but not quite here.
Off to get busy,
Have a good day all,
JCKitty

You know Noisy Porkchop
You don't have to have any of that stuff you don't like on your facebook either.
None of that exists on mine. If someone seems a little too extreme, I just unfollow. Still remain friends, but never see what they post.

Good morning!
Jackie, glad you had a good trip!
Florida, wishing you a safe trip back (though you may be home by the time I post this.)
In the 50s this morning ... looks like it has been raining. Think we've had enough for right now, thank you ...
DH got all that broth/stock in the freezer ... he won't let me open it for fear it will all fall out. Did pull out a couple of things for dinners, so that will help.
Today ... should take another whack at making appointments. Need to package up some photos to send a cousin. I finally ordered some hubcaps for my car ... not like the original, but I like the style.
I may pop over to BB&B and use a coupon to buy a new cap loosener. Got up to find ours in pieces the other day: It had come apart when DH tried to use it. It was 20 years old, so I guess we got our $$ out of it, LOL!

Clem, I agree with you 100%. I like an occasional day of rain, but when it's everyday I began to get depressed. With our humidity after a rain if it's hot it's like a steam bath, no fun.clemencia2us wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 2:29 pm I wish I was one of those people that enjoy wet gloomy weather

Re: Daily Check in Sept 10, 2018
Good Afternoon Everyone,
Raining and overcast here and it is also kinda cool. I have had an easy day. Did sleep in as usual and I had removed my heated mattress pad at the beginning of summer because it's thick and the sheets are a little harder to change. I had washed it and stored it in one of the large flat plastic containers that I bought at WalMart back earlier in the year. I decided to put it back on the bed this morning as I was changing sheets. I am now ready when the cold nights hit. I do love the new Tencel Sheets that I bought, but it's kinda a toss up between the 100% Egyptian cotton ones. I will just alternate between the two of them. The Egyptian ones continue to become softer after each wash. Still a few wrinkles, but nothing I can't live with.
I have started packing for my trip. I did all my laundry of clothing over the weekend so it will be easy to go ahead and pack for a week. I am loving the hanging bar that Mr. B put into my vehicle, so much easier to hang my slacks, tops and dresses. I should be able to take only one suitcase for everything else.
Tomorrow I need to make a run to the bank to pick up some cash and I will be ready to head out on Friday. I am trying to use up all the fresh veggies and fruits on hand and will probably end up freezing a little milk. I bought a gallon on my last order to keep from having to go to the store after my stock-up and I haven't drank as much as I usually do for some reason.
Well, that is about all the news that I have today and I hope that everyone has a wonderful rest of the day.
