Recommendation for Netflix series.

Post by Sandy » Sun Nov 04, 2018 1:44 am

I've been watching the Netflix series "Versailles", about Louis XIV and the building of the palace (with all other historical events during that time period). Excellent entertainment. There are two seasons so far on Netflix though I think Season 3 (final) has started on BBC.

Another is "Knightfall", one season so far on Netflix and picked up for a second season. It's about the Templar Knights and their search for the Holy Grail. I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to the new season.

Knightfall was on TV for two seasons here in Canada and was very good. I have been watching Versailles on TV here as well. We get a great many BBC shows on our CBC here.

Both are very good.

One I started watching this year is Vanity Fair (on our regular TV) and it is very good. I think that since Netflix picks these BBC shows up eventually you should keep your eyes open for that one.

Thanks, Jackie. Amazon offers the BBC channel and since I have Prime I have looked at subscribing more than once.

Sandy -
Have you watched Stranger Things? It is more sci-fi than horror but is truly wonderful. I watched it for the 2nd time last week.
