Leftover chicken dish was turned into another dinner.
Ate the last of a store-bought pie; will recycle the plastic packaging into plant saucers.

Hmmm ...
Finished off a jar of jelly ...
Had stir fry for dinner, which used up the last of the cabbage, some onions from the freezer and some leftover veggies.

Worked through more of the gift toiletries, using all the body lotions and potions.

Had a couple of Fridge Gleaning Nights using up bottles and open jars of seasoning s and pickles etc.

Also took open packs of crisps and crackers to work and have eaten a few each day til they were gone. They were sitting in the pantry being ignored !

Used up more a craft room stash ( paper and card ) in craft club. It was things no longer to my taste..............as a reverse work then gave me some Union Jack style papers they hadn't used for the Royal Wedding. I had seen it and explained I had used the same papers on some Family History Scrapbook page.............DH army days and also my own father at the coronation in 1953.

School also used up my oddments of yarn on a POM POM making day with some vulnerable kids so that was nice.

And the stuff has been Used UP so that's great !

Finally used up an American cheese DH had bought to taste.....monterey jack......I thought it has a soapy unpleasant taste.......far too mild. DH made stuffed mushrooms one night and topped them with the remains of that cheese. All good , no waste.

We also compost all out veg peelings egg shells etc to a compost bin , we have one here and one at the allotment. Makes good compost, and no waste cluttering up our rubbish bin !
