You will be ok. My mom had breast cancer 25+ years ago, but it was caught early like yours, and hasn't had any trouble, since then.
Sending a hug and healthy energy to you!

Re: My Biopsy Results
So sorry to hear about your medical issue, but your optimistic attitude will take you through it. And there's been so much progress made in the treatment of breast cancer. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Short story was a mass was found on my right breast, so after more intensive tests yesterday, I had a biopsy performed to take tissue samples that were sent in for testing.
Today at 2:36pm I received a phone call from my OBGYN, Dr S, who told me that I have cancer. After more conversation, during which he mentioned several possibilities, I chose to go to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, and he said that he’d get his nurse working on getting me an appointment there (because she knows all the right people to call).
So that is where I’m at.
I would ask that if you're a praying person, please add me to yours. Although I anticipate a good outcome because my “mass” is about 7 millimeters, I still admit to some trepidation about the whole process. However, I’m determined to remain positive and optimistic!!
I will post more information as I learn them.
Thinking of you Gayle and wishing you well!!
Thanks.

Re: My Biopsy Results & Updates
I finally got a call from Huntsman Cancer Institute last Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment. However, it is an appointment to get a biopsy of my lymph nodes so they can use that info to know what treatment options to offer me. So I will go out Tuesday morning for an afternoon appointment--we live about 3-1/2 hours drive from HCI.
I realize it it just one more step in the process, but the worry is wearing on me.
