DIY mesh bag pot scrubber
This is a frugal oldie but goodie: Three plastic mesh bags that apples were packaged in made into a nice big plastic pot scrubber.
I put the bags inside each other like sleeves, then rolled the resulting bag with two bags inside like a donut, twisted the tail end together in the center, and stitched it all together with nylon thread. Took about five minutes to do.Mackie

I'll have to try rolling mine like that ... I usually just sort of wrap it into a small rectangle and stitch up the sides.

Yours looks just like the ones I can no longer find in the stores!
Friday I found some strong nylon netting (I think from bouquets) and wrapped a double layer over a new sponge. Then sewed around the outside w/ the sewing machine. This worked pretty well for scrubbing pots when I tried it. I made 2 of those.

I like using the bags off of 3 lb onions. They clean up easily.
