Florida, if I had the power I would send you some of my rain. Rained most of the night and this morning we had a "gully washer". That is slang," for a lot of rain in the deep South". LOL
I had a small package that I needed to mail so I got in my car and drove down to the mailbox. While in the car you could not believe it, sounded like I was in a car wash. The lighy bulb goes on in my head. My car hasn't been to the car wash in a couple of months, wonder if I can do something frugal and save myself a trip and the cost of a wash. I drove very slowly back up my driveway and then sat in my car outside of the garage for about 15 minutes. I drove back into the garage, got me a chamois and wiped the car down. It's as clean as new. Last week I had gotten my shop vac out and cleaned out the inside. With no more than I'm driving now and keeping it in the garage it doesn't need much cleaning. I felt really frugal, free water got me a free car wash.

I have a 1:00 Dr. appointment so I am hoping that it has stopped by then, I hate to drive in the mess. My labs this week at dialysis found blood in my stool, so before I can get a referral to a GI specialist I have to go so my primary doctor. Kidney Dr. thinks it could be the heparin that is causing it and they stopped that as soon as the test came back. We shall see, if it's not one thing it's another.

I hope that everyone has a fantastic day and Mackie I sure hope you are going to love that new job.
that gully washer I know the term well as we have a creek in our back yard , too k out our fence. Second time it has done it. Glad the goats were locked in their pen overnight as the neighbor has a garden.got it fixed enough to keep them it, bu needs more work.

Update:

Re my note of Hallmark Movies and Mysteries the Christmas series goes through July 12, not July 4th. I believe I was looking at a schedule that wasn't fully updated.

Day 3 of staying home. Did not walk. Thought about it and said no. Better train and get used to mandatory stay at home orders. You never know.

Still woke up before 6 which is good. Do not want to get out of that habit.

Heard that my first cousin was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. He does have the virus and now both of his daughters do also. So that makes 3 cousins in san antonio hospitals with virus issues. Also have one in Phoenix but she is doing well.

Lets see what mischief I can get into today.
Clem, I am sorry to hear of your relatives with COVID. I pray for a fast and complete recovery for them.

I have to gather the garbage and trash this morning. I need to double check as I don’t believe there is any trash pick up this Friday.

I keep getting offers to lower my auto insurance since I don’t own a car, no insurance company can save me any money.

I kept many of my Granddaughter’s McDonalds Toddler Toys, I kept them since they were cute. I discovered when I checked that I own one mini van, a pick up truck, and car. However I do have multiple aircraft. 6 airplanes, 2 helicopters, and one police officer on a motorcycle. Of course None of them requires insurance.

My the first of my fabric is out for delivery today. I have another package of fabric coming later this week.

Then my order from Amazon is scheduled for Friday.

Penny
Penny...you should be able to get "Fleet Insurance" for all of your vehicles and aircraft!!!!

Mackie, I wish you all the best as you start your new job tomorrow.

Clem, sorry to hear about your family members. I have a couple friends who have had the virus and recovered. But, one of my friend's (elderly and medically fragile) mother caught it from her. She's in hospital and on a ventilator. It doesn't look good. And one of my friends' DIL has it. She's actually on her way over here. She posted that she was desperate for Lysol. I'm giving her one of my cans as that is one thing I am fully stocked up on. She'll pick it up from my porch.

Littlemiss, we hardly got a drop of the rain that is sitting on your head. It was all around us and it thundered a couple times but just a little misting of rain.

Today is a no spend/no drive day. I have my procedure tomorrow afternoon to get the trial stim implant. I hope and pray it works. DH has to drive me and he just said, hey, after your procedure, wanna go to Sonic? Woohoo, it's a date. I've always been a cheap date. :D

I did my walk this morning on the treadmill. I don't know how hot it is out there and I don't really want to find out. Hobbes is so cute. He's snoozing on the ottoman in the square of sunshine (from the skylight in our den). He keeps shifting to follow its path. We have three skylights in our house. Most of the time I love them, but not in July and August for sure.

I've got a small meatloaf that will be supper. I'll make some mashed potatoes and open some peas to go with. I still need to check our farmer's market. I am craving a good ripe tomato something fierce.
